What is Medical Nutrition?
Medical Nutrition is a Personally designed dietary and supplementary program that focuses on identifying the main causes of dysfunction or dysease to bring your body back to health.
It is more than just a diet; it’s a systematic approach to ridding the body of toxins, decreasing your inflammatory response, and putting good whole, unprocessed foods back into your body to increase the function of each organ system. This, in turn, not only corrects the underlying problem but also prevents further illnesses.
A Wholistic View
The body is viewed as a whole—mind, body, and spirit. Therein lays a delicate balance between the three. When one part of the body is sick, eventually so will be the rest. Just as eating healthy and exercise is important for the overall health and well-being of your body, so is maintaining a healthy mental and emotional outlook.

We were designed with innate healing capabilities, but when stressors, poor physical health and poor nutrition take over, our body’s ability to heal itself becomes greatly diminished. As you go through your program, think of the other aspects of your life that you can improve. Ultimately, this will lead to a much happier and healthier you!
With our busy schedules and poor choices at fast food restaurants, it’s no wonder that according to the USDA, 74 percent of Americans are nutritionally deficient. Nutritional supplements are compounded vitamins and minerals meant to be taken daily to fill in all the nutritional “gaps” from poor diets.
However, even when our diets are at their best, we are still not able to get in the recommended daily dose of certain vitamins or minerals. Not only has the quality of our food greatly diminished, but our body’s ability to absorb vitamins from food has also been reduced.
How Long Will it Take for Me to Start Feeling Healthy?
The number of visits needed varies from person to person. For complex or long-standing conditions, one visit a week for several weeks may be recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer visits are required. As well as being effective for treatment, nutritional medicine is a truly preventative medicine and can be incorporated into your wellness regimen.
