  • Patients with consistent pain
  • Heavy physical work activity
  • Athletes and highly active people
  • Physical injuries

Swedish Massage

Our Swedish massage services can help reduce chronic pain, fatigue, and joint stiffness. Our techniques vary from light to strong and consist of five styles of strokes:

  1. Sliding or gliding (effleurage)
  2. Kneading (petrissage)
  3. Rhythmic tapping (tapotement)
  4. Cross-fiber or with-fiber friction
  5. Vibration and shaking

Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is a modified massage that features special pillows, body positioning, and techniques to accommodate the expecting mother and her baby. But the goal of prenatal massage is the same as any massage: to promote relaxation, relieve pain, and improve circulation and mobility.

The weight increase that accompanies pregnancy changes your center of gravity which changes how you physically go about your day. Sleeping, sitting, standing, walking... the changes in the way you do these routine activities often leads to increased physical discomfort. Our prenatal massage services provide the relief and improved well-being you greatly deserve.

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger point therapy is designed to deactivate trigger points. Trigger points (not to be confused with pressure points) are hyper-irritable spots within a muscle that can cause both local pain and referred pain, pain that is sometimes distant from the trigger point itself.

Pain from a trigger point will often feel like a knot or band within the muscle. And stimulation of the trigger point often causes a twitch response.

Massage Cupping Therapy

Headaches, muscle and joint pain, hypertension, insomnia, edema, cellulite... neck, back, and shoulder pain. Massage cupping can help!

Massage cupping involves placing suction cups in problem areas and withdrawing air with a suction gun. This therapeutic service offers many health benefits. In addition to releasing soft and deep tissue, massage cupping helps drain toxins and excess fluid, lift connective tissue, loosen adhesions, and improve blood flow to muscles and skin.

Massage cupping should not be used by patients with liver problems, kidney problems, ruptured discs, or patients undergoing cancer treatment.
